Trump Factory Racing continue their Pedal Prix dominance

Round 2 Race Report

Trump Trikes Factory Racing continue their dominance of the Epiroc WA Pedal Prix Series
with another commanding performance at Round 2 of the series, held at the Bunbury
City Kart Club.

In fact, it was déjà vu all over again with Hale School’s off the rHALEs and Knicker
Bocker 2 finishing second and third, taking out the senior school and junior school
categories again.

On the tighter and smaller track, passing was at a premium with close racing the
norm for the day. A late shower created some mayhem towards the end of the race
as competitors struggled to keep the trikes on the track as the 6 hours came to a
close.

A measure of the determination seen on the day was the number of trikes requiring
quick fixes with a number of chains, running gear and punctures encountered.
Consistently was the key to a good finish and the Native Cats from the Duncraig
SHS Bush Cadets having their second top 6 finish after running a smooth and fairly
trouble-free race. Carey Baptist College ran well all day to have 3 of the teams finish
inside the top 10.

All eyes now turn to the final event at Busselton in late August.
