Trump Factory Racing dominate the Epiroc WA Pedal Prix opening event

Round 1 Race Report

The sun rose on a clear day for the start of the Epiroc WA Pedal Prix series at the
DRM in Belmont. 30 trikes lined up for the first event for the 2022 season.

Right from the start the Trump Factory Racing Team set the pace and led from the
front in a commanding victory. The Webb brothers overcame some early trouble to
hit the lead on lap 22 and completed 246 laps to win the open category by 35 laps.
The Trump team averaged nearly 40 km/h over the 6-hour event.

Hale School filled the following 4 places with the Heavier, Older, Awesomer alumni team
finishing a credible 3rd place overall in their return event.

The big improvers from last season were Pinjarra SHS’s Mosquito 1 trike, which
finished in 9th place overall and 3rd in their category after running near the rear of the
the field in their 2021 debut year.

The open winners were the Trump Trikes Factory Racing team, with Hale School picking
up the Senior School and Junior School categories with Off the rHALEs and Knicker
Bocker 2, respectively.
